Cookaburra is built so that your data stays yours:
- No data collection. Cookaburra has no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We collect nothing about you or your use of the app.
- On-device processing. Recipe photos, text, and links are processed on your device using Apple's Vision and Foundation Models frameworks. They are not sent to us or to any third party by Cookaburra.
- Your iCloud, not ours. If iCloud sync is enabled, your recipes and meal plans are stored in your personal, private iCloud database, protected by your Apple Account. We have no access to it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Web imports fetch pages you ask for. When you import a recipe from a link, your device fetches that page directly — the same as opening it in a browser. Which pages you import is not visible to us.
- Camera and photos. Camera and photo-library access are used only to capture recipes you choose, with your permission, and images stay in the app's private storage.
Because Cookaburra collects no personal data, there is no personal data for us to sell, share, retain, or delete. If you have questions, contact us at the address below.
